I.O.W.A. AUTHORS EVENT TO TAKE PLACE ONLINE NOV. 7-8

The Writers’ Rooms (I.O.W.A.) Goes Virtual!

The Writers’ Rooms I.O.W.A., (Imagine Other Worlds with Authors), is an online event this year, due to Covid19, that takes place Nov. 7th and 8th from 10am-5pm over Facebook. Hosted by The Writers’ Rooms and the Cedar Rapids Public Library, I.O.W.A. will feature readings, presentations, and giveaways by more than 20 authors as well as panel discussions on topics of interest to writers and readers. In addition, Iowa bookstores will showcase their programs and stores on November 2nd-6th at 12pm each day. You can follow the events at facebook.com/iaotherworlds.

“We’ll miss the interactions that take place when readers and authors meet face to face,” said Erin Casey, executive director of The Writers’ Rooms. “But at the same time, we’re excited that anyone, anywhere, can now attend. This brings our Iowa-based and Iowa-connected authors to the world, and the world to them.”

All I.O.W.A. events take place over Facebook at facebook.com/iaotherwolds. Learn more at thewritersrooms.org/iowa.
