Linda Park

Linda writes letters of her vulnerable thoughts to friends, family, and strangers at definitelynotokay.com. She seeks to connect with readers by sharing her stories of facing imperfect self and struggles with compassion and courage. She also writes and translates literary works of various genres. Her first novel, Her Soft Spot, a New Adult erotic romance, started during NaNoWriMo 2019 and is in the process of revisions. Her experiences as a queer cisgender woman and Korean immigrant heavily influence her writing.

She has conducted sociolinguistic research on multilingualism and linguistic imperialism during her years of master’s study in Linguistics at the University of Iowa. Over the last 10 years, she has taught English to immigrant and international students from all around the world.
